Variable Process Settings and Sequential Printing

I'm trying to work with the variable process settings with two different parts.

I have the process for each part split in two so four total processes during the print.

I want it to alternate between the two parts like this:
Part A and Part B

Process A-1
Process B-1
Process A-2
Process B-2

I'm successfully getting the different split settings to apply, but the order isn't working the way I thought the "Drag and Drop" feature of v4.0 was supposed to work. It's still printing all of A and then switching to B.

Has anyone else tried this successfully or run into this issue :?: :?: :?:

Thanks

Re: Variable Process Settings and Sequential Printing

Are you using sequential printing? You would need to adjust the sequential printing height to let it print one complete process before going to the next. Otherwise, it will just print them all layer-by-layer.

Re: Variable Process Settings and Sequential Printing

4.0 will not do what you want if the splits are at different heights. For it to do what you want there needs to be a 3rd option. "Process Printing" This would print each process in the order you specified.

If you have 3 process for 3 objects all 1 layer they will print in the order you specify. Since you have processes basically stacked the system just does not have the option to do what you wish.
