I'd like to see S3D have a more dynamic setting for retraction restart distance.
The idea is that the retraction can't pull back filament that's already molten in the nozzle. That gives ooze, and S3D has many settings to try and deal with that (such as wiping.) If there's only a short movement after retraction, very little filament will have oozed, so any positive restart might cause a blob. On the other hand, if the nozzle moves a more significant distance, it's possible all the molten plastic will have oozed out and a positive restart might be needed.
