Really annoying: I was printing with the tools I usually use, and then I installed the latest Simplify3D, and ran it after the install was done. Stupidly(!), Simplify3D killed my running print by grabbing the serial port. The printer released the motors and the Z axis fell down, effectively destroying my running print.
NEVER just open the serial port without asking the user first. Pretty please. That's just bad manners.
