dual extrusion prints - one layer at a time?

When using S3D to print something with two tool, S3D slices in a pattern similar to:

layer1, T0
layer1, T1
layer2, T1
layer2 T0
layer3 T0

and so on. Basically, assuming all layers require work by both tools, it keeps the same tool going for 2 layers probably to minimize tool changes. This is great and the reduction of tool changes to twice every two layers instead of twice every single layer probably speeds things up considerably.

However, I have a print with special needs, and I need it to always do all the work for one tool on a layer before it prints the with other tool. In other words, I need a sequence similar to:

layer1, T0
layer1, T1
layer2, T0
layer2 , T1
layer3, T0

So, on a given layer, tool 0 ALWAYS prints first. (I need this because the already printed filament in tool 1 tends to bleed and smear if tool 0 prints on the same layer.) Can S3D be configured to use this more inefficient method of dual extrusion?

(Slic3r works like I want by default, and when I print this particular object/filaments when sliced with slic3r, I don't have any bleeding/smearing issues... but have other issues likely due to my lack of experience with and misconfonfiguring it.)
