I'm using the Mac version 4.0.1. It seems that the window management could be improved to be consistent with other Mac programs. As mentioned in another post about "return to preview window", sometimes the preview window can disappear and there is no clear way to return to it. Simplify3D is obviously still driving the print job, but the preview of THAT job is lost. It was suggested to re-slice, that the results should be the same, and the preview screen should return. But is that true? Will the results be identical? Not if any parameter is changed in the meantime. If I then return to the Preview screen, is it then previewing the PREVIOUS, still-running job, or previewing the next (slightly different) job?
Minimizing the preview window with the yellow button (-) should not cause the Preview screen to be lost.
Ideally one should be able to use Command-~ (tilde) to move between windows as with most Mac programs.
The View menu should list the active windows and enable the user to switch between them.
As a corollary, the ability to switch between the object window and the preview windows might enable us to save time by setting up the next job while the current job is running. Not exactly a job queue, but at least a queue of one.
Thanks.
