I see in the FFF script that for ABS on the makergear the first layer is 110C. If I want the first 5 layers this temp then I add setpoints 1 through 5 at 110C? What do I do if I want the hotbed to always stay at 110C for the entire print?

If you want 110c on layer 1 to 5, you just set it on layer 1, then on layer 6 you set the next temp. No need to set temp on every layer.
If you want 110c on whole print, you only set temp at first layer, it will keep temp for the rest of the print..
