Good Morning,
I have a PowerSpec Ultra, since moving to S3D v4.0 the toolhead offsets don't seem to impact the print. The machine settings are being updated to reflect the changes I make in the profile however the firmware on this printer is not opensource and PowerSpec won't help because the tool offsets work in power print... I've reached out to FlashForge and so far no response there.
I sent an email to S3D support and they gave me a link about all the potential options for dealing with toolhead offset and the toolhead offset option on the g-code tab is the only viable option for me. I can set my x=0 y=0 on toolhead 1 and print then set it to x34.2 y0.3 (the correct settings in power print) and the print is indistinguishable.
The issue may be exclusive to my closed source firmware but in older versions of S3D I was able to make it work using this option.
At the very least I would expect to see different results with changing the toolhead offsets even if I never get the perfect alignment I'm after.
If anyone else is experiencing this please chime in.
In the mean time I'm going to see if I can roll back to a prior release of S3D.
Thanks!
