I was trying to prevent asking the question by search but it seems the forum has changed a bit since last I was involved with Simplify3d. Last go I found a profile that worked for me, imported and I was off and running. Well not this time. its been a while and I need to relearn. So I come to you with a bit of a interesting printer i'm setting up. It started out as a Ultimaker Original + so its using the same board the UM2 uses. What has changed?
The upper carriage has been completely overhauled and now uses 1.75mm filament instead of the 2.85 stock so that's a thing. Extruder is kinda my own thing but stepper still turns the same direction as stock. The rest is not really relevant to setting up simplify3d so ill stop at that.
So to start.
What base profile do I need from the helper? Do I use the UMO profile even though the board is different? Or do I use the UM2 profile even though the extruder settings are wrong for the UMO+?
If I use the UMO profile how do I find out what to set the heat bed to? Again different board so does this even match up?
I found good information on filament diameter but I want to make sure I understand it correctly and the information is still valid.

According to the above .583 should give me the results im looking for if using a profile set for 3mm and converted to use 1.75. Give or take a little.
