Missing Minimize Maximize and Close Buttons

Hi

Attached is a screenshot of my entire desktop.
For some reason i am missing the minimize, maximize and close buttons in the top right.
They just suddenly disappeared one day and this annoys me to no end.

What gives?

Re: Missing Minimize Maximize and Close Buttons

It looks as if you have somehow moved the window up a small amount...far enough for the very top of the window to be off-screen.

Try seeing if you can grab the window with the cursor about half way left to right and on the very top rows of the display. If you can move it down, also move it to the left, then move the cursor to the top rh corner so you get the diagonal resize arrow and make the window smaller. You should then be able to sort the window out.....

If that fails...try right clicking on the task bar and select "cascade windows" or one of the other three options with it!

Re: Missing Minimize Maximize and Close Buttons

When i click near the top all i get is the option to display or not display the toolbar.

In the end i changed my screen resolution, which then resized the window to match.
Problem soved.

Yeah, the screen goes out of bounds sometime. The trick is to hover over the icon in the task bar. A preview of the application window will pop up. Right-click in the preview and select move. Then press an arrow key. You can then mouse around to reposition the window. Been planning to post this as a bug, but hadn't gotten around to it yet.
