some issues

Ok, i print some of 3dlabprint planes and i have a issue with slicing the F4U corsair. someparts i have to use version 4.0.0 and some parts of the print i have to use 4.0.1 so you need to have both 4.0.0 and 4.0.1 installed to do the project. (not sure if this is your issue or 3dlabprint?) but someone should look into this...
2nd issue i have is why does the check for updates not work? right now i have both 4.0.0 and 4.0.1 installed and wile in 4.0.0 i can hit the check for updates and it reports no updates found but yet i have downloaded 4.0.1 and installed that so i do believe that 4.0.1 is a updated version just your software is hiding it from everyone. cant rely on the software for updates....
4.0.1 will not slice the entire project for the F4U you must have both versions installed to slice the entire project. 4.0.1 will crash on some parts but 4.0.0 will slice them and some parts 4.0.0 will crash and not slice and you must use 4.0.1 for those parts. thats why you need to keep both installed...

Re: some issues

If you have the latest then you'll be fine but leave both versions installed. You'll find it handy to have previous versions installed. In newer version they sometimes take out something that was actually a useful feature. so, you can go back and use the older version if you need to.

The update doesn't find the newer one since it is sort of a "re-write" to address specific issues and they chose to have you do the update manually if you wanted to.
