Configuration for Flashforge Inventor

Howdy

I'm trying to configure S3D for the Inventor. It seems pretty painless, i.e. specify Flashforge Inventor as the type of printer, which is installed during setup. Make sure that .x3g is enabled under script. Export to SD, which is the same SD that came with the printer, from which the Inventor reads files from FlashPrint with no problem. Use basic names, like "aaa" or "card" to ensure that there is no length or special character interference...

So, what am I missing? The Inventor will not recognize the .x3d file output by S3D. After generating the code, I can open it in FlashPrint, so it isn't completely corrupt, it's just that the printer doesn't recognize it...

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Configuration for Flashforge Inventor

Check your file type. I am not sure the inventor uses x3g but instead G or GX.

Re: Configuration for Flashforge Inventor

Thanks, you are correct. I was assuming that there was consistency within the realm of F.F...
