S3D refuses to use extruder 1 in dual head configuration

I have a dual head Tevo Tarantula, just built and am trying to tune each head.
BUT
while I can get S3D to gen code to print with the left head (E0), when I try to print only with the right head it continually errors out saying under temp on the LEFT head - which I am not trying to use.
What setting is getting missed?

And while I am at it, is "tool 0" the same as "extruder 0"? The control panel window seems to think so, but the profile editor does not appear to think so.
So, which is it? Is tool 0 == extruder 0? Or not?

Thanks,

Never mind... tool == extruder (in this case). I missed a place that used "tool" instead of "extruder". And that made all the difference in the world.
Now, how to "level" two nozzles on one hot end (Chimera). Is looks like tedium to me... Hmm, I need a jig for this.

just out of curiosity, what do you mean by "level".

I don't know the machine type you have, it has a dual extruder like in the old replicator1 or does it have a switchable toolhead?

Re: S3D refuses to use extruder 1 in dual head configuration

I got a Chimera clone from my son for a birthday. Suffice to say it isn't of the E3D quality. The two heat breaks are different lengths (apparently). Anyway by level I mean have both of the nozzle be the exact same distance from the bed. I have to remove the head, fiddle with set screws, put the head back on, heat it up, measure, cool down, "rinse repeat". And, like trimming your sideburns, it always seems to go back and forth. Endlessly...

I have a Tevo Tarantula BTW I built just for this dual head.
