Lubrication of the printer

Hello my name is Hugo, I'm from Argentina and I'm using the Google translator because my English is not very good.
I want to ask the group which is the best lubricant for the movable parts of the printer. Thank you very much and I'm answering some questions.
A greeting.

Re: Lubrication of the printer

Do not know what is the best.

But i use ceramic gun-oil.

It is gives a thin dry layer. No adhesion of dirt etc.

Use it for other purposes normally.

Works for me!

Thank you very much Baalder for your response. I am using graphite powder and I do not know if it is correct.

Re: Lubrication of the printer

- For the rods of my cartesian printer, I use a light machine oil, commonly referred to as "sewing machine oil".

- For the gears & bearings on my (larger) delta printer, I use thinly applied vaseline grease.

Hope this helps? :-)

Re: Lubrication of the printer

I use, sparingly, Super Lube Oil W/PTFE.
