Does this piece printable ?

Hello.
I'm wondering if this piece is printable without support ?

I tried different S3D settings without success, each time S3D is printing in void starting from the second layer.

The piece looks like this from the bottom view

Thanks for your help.

You've answered your own question.

If the extruder is printing in free space then it needs support.

Thank you for your reply.
I hoped that S3D will be able to start printing inside before printing the edge.
As you can see below, it's not really free space, it's a conical shape.

Re: Does this piece printable ?

You are printing with only one perimeter, that never can be successful. You need the overlap of perimeters to win height. And it seems you are printing the Outside - Inside direction (menue Layer) because the second layer needs a bridge. Where do you think the inside perimeter of the 2nd layer can be fixed?

Its the same problem when printing a sphere, the pitch of the conical shape is to flat for the first layers.
