Greetings:
I am currently using a homemade printer. I'm running Klipper firmware on a 2040 frame using Anet A8 electronics (AM8).
This is the model I'm trying to print:
And this is what I end up with:
This is printed at 45mm/s using PLA (Amazon Basics) at 185c and the bed at 61c. Much hotter and it gets real stringy. I've sliced it to using .1 layer heights (also tried .12, which should be optimal for my steppers), and I get the same results.
I've been using this thing for a while and having great results. I'm not sure if I tweaked a setting or what... as an example, this is something I printed last week using the same printer and very similar process settings.
I've been having some problems with over/under extrusion, but I think I have that figured out (bowden with a Titan and I didn't have enough tension on the filament). I don't think this is over/under extrusion though, is it? It almost looks like it's warping, but it's warping a layer above the bed?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
As I type this, I'm going over everything it could be, and I'm wondering if I can bring the hotbed down a bit and see if that helps. If anyone can think of anything else, I would greatly appreciate any insight still!
