I have recently tried to get Simplify 3d to run on my ubuntu 14.04 machine. I had it running on windows very well but it was an old slow machine. I cannot get a display of any sense.
I am running a Nvidia FX3500 graphics card. But using the ubuntu Nouveau drivers because I cant get the nvidia ones to work properly on my system. I am guessing this could be the problem. Can anyone help. Thanks Matt

That's very strange... for the record I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 on a laptop with a NVidia GTX 660m graphics card, didn't install any third party graphics drivers or anything and s3d works fine for me

I guess that is kinda good news. But i can't get to the bottom of it. May need to find a windows option. ahhh
