sequential printing bug?

With 4.1, sequential mode is not working. I created four models, assigned one to each of four processes, select sequential mode with 2mm clearance, and the preview still displays the layers being printed one at a time.

I really wish sequential printing was a simple checkbox for multiple identical parts. I lay out a bed with 150 parts and I have to manually create 150 processes. Slight design change in the STL and I have to redo the entire procedure. Not practical for production.

I have a similar problem. I created four models, assigned one to each of four processes, select sequential mode with 2mm clearance, but it prints one layer at a time of two models for 2mm and then it prints one layer at a time of the other two models.

It seems these models are not printing sequentially because they are currently placed too close to one another. Parts that are positioned too closely to each other will share additions and will not be printed sequentially to avoid collisions. If you want these to print sequentially you will need to move them slightly farther apart from one another.

I see, so I can't use skirts when printing sequentially. I think this wasn't the case pre 4.0.

Still hoping for some features that make it easier to print large trays of identical parts. The software is tuned for hobby use and some simple features would make it much easier to use for production.

Yes you need move objects and increase the gaps between them.

I discovered today that a factory file with sequential print created with version 4.0 does not work any more with newer versions.
I see that the problem occurs when pieces share additions (example: Skirts touch each other).

I usually enlarge Skirt distance from object until I get a unique Skirt that surrounds all pieces: this allows me to verify the levelling of print bed just when I start to print, and then leave unattended the printer.

It would be helpful to allows to use a unique Skirt while printing sequentially the parts.
