No retractions between printed support and perimeter?

Is it just me or does it no longer retract after printing support and starts to print perimeter or next solid layer?

It's a bug, there's no retraction between layers even if you force it with the checkbox. It'll ooze filament across your print no matter what.

hi, you can simply solve that by turning on FORCE RETRACTION BETWEEN LAYERS on advanced tab

Sorry, dont have that factory file. I have the gcode if that would help?
I guess I could do a similar setup with that model but it was an 22hr print so I'm not very keen on printing it again.

That wouldn't solve anything as my problems aren't between layers, and enabling that introduces other problems I don't want.

Tried creating a new fff file from scratch and still have the same issue. Reverting back to 4.0.1 until the issue is resolved.

SweHogelid if you could post that gcode file it would be very helpful. I have been testing this trying to recreate your description but have been unable to make the retractions not occur when the option to Force Retraction Between Layers is turned on.
