[FIXED] Prime pillar destroys everything

Hi,

I just bought S3D 4.0.1 and stumbled into a really big issue when trying to creating a print .

The attached pictures should be self explanatory.

I also had issues when slicing with 4.0.0 using the prime pillar.
Sometimes it was okay, but lately it just don't work, so I bought the latest version of S3D after seeing more work was implemented on the prime tower issues.

Thanks for you help guys.

Re: Prime pillar destroys everything

Yes.
Unfortuntely the file is too big for this forum.
here is a link for the factory file, works perfect in version 4.0.0
C:\Program Files\Simplify3D-4.0.1\Simplify3D.exe

I changed the code a bit (code works great on v4.0.0) so I can now slice but still I get weird prime pillar result and far too long too much material to print.

Re: Prime pillar destroys everything

I’m happy to state that this issue with errant prime pillars should be resolved now in the latest 4.1.1 release. Our team successfully tested many factory files and prints from threads mentioning this issue. The prime pillar will now accurately represent the extruders used on each layer. This was just one of many improvements to the software. All of which are detailed on our Release Notes page.

Thank you for your help reporting this issue!
