Printrbot Quality? Metal Simple/Go V2 profile?

Hello all,

I just purchased software, tweaking along.
How are Printrbot users coming along? Are you pleased?
Would anyone share their Printrbot profiles?

Thanks.

I just got a PrintrBot Simple DIY kit fairly recently. Have been getting some pretty awesome prints with it and s3d. I'll attach the profile I use (it's for PrintrBot Simple's with a Z-Probe), I believe the PrintrBot Simple Metal has a larger bed than the one I use, which you should adjust in the G-Code tab I believe.

Oh, yeah. Very pleased.

I'm using a nearly 2 year-old Plus, KickStarter version.

Under Tools/Options I selected "Cartesian Robot" and plugged in the correct X/Y/Z values; that's pretty much it. Don't need the auto-leveling stuff that the kids find so popular these days...

Still learning the processes (only had S3D two weeks) but I am mightily impressed. Money well spent.

I agree, I bought an upgrade kit for my maker edition simple since I wanted the GT2 belts over the string driving mechanism, and I'm very happy with the quality coming from my simple with s3d. was using the z-probe for a few prints but I think a properly leveled bed beats it any day. ditched the probe, now i manually home the z axis until i can model a new z-endstop holder for my new simple frame. thinking of just mounting it on one of the smooth rods.

How do I adjust profile to keep Printrbot Go V2 bed dimensions?
