Hi,
For those of us who monitor prints as they are in progress, have you ever wanted to change the printhead movement speed on just the bridging, or just the infill, or just the perimeters, instead of all printhead movement globally?
It would seem that this could be accomplished by adding a new bit of g-gode that basically amounts to a "set speed flag". The slicer would add this code whereever a change occurs, such as going from perimeter, to infill, to support, to bridging etc, then send it along to the firmware accordingly.
If taken further, it would be especially useful if more advanced features with constant values, like Infill outline overlap, could be changed on the fly.
When you have large prints that use up an entire spool in one go, these new abilities become more valuable. I'd be happy to pay a premium for these more professional features
