Makergear M2 Dual Profile

Hello,

I have Simplify 3D setup to slice prints for my Makergear M2 Dual Extruder machine. The representation of the printer shifted when using the dual profile for this machine. The grid is smaller than the printer bed and offset. Here is a picture showing what I mean .

This makes it tricky laying out objects on the bed not knowing the true edges. I was wondering if there is a solution, or if the profile for my machine is not proper in some way.

Thanks,

Jerold

Here is a better example of what I am dealing with. First, a picture of my print layout in S3D. Second, what the printer output, which I had to stop as it was extruding over the left y edge of the bed.

Did you go to the Help Tab> Configuration Assistant > choose the M2 Dual?

Re: Makergear M2 Dual Profile

I did. This is the way the printer is represented graphically using that profile. Unfortunately, it doesn't match the actual prints and I have to remember to shift the print left about 25 mm to center it.

you may want to IM Tim over at the MG forum. He did a lot of custom stuff with the M2
