Errant Stitching?

See attachment. Where is this coming from and can I get rid of it? There is nothing that I can see that it is connecting.

Re: Errant Stitching?

First question first....its being caused by there being two solid layers set for the top surface. You are always likely to get these extra extrusions as the slicer tries to follow the rules you set where sloping edges are concerned.

Second question - use the Variable Settings Wizard to create a split that leave two layers in the top-most profile, then change the middle profile so there is only one top solid layer. Simples!

Interesting, and thanks.

Seems like that would be a third/fourth layer, though, but I will investigate.

Re: Errant Stitching?

Multiple top layers was the issue, but I had to set it to zero to get rid of it completely.
