Spiral Base

I am trying to print a single layer from a cylinder as a spiral base. I can only seem to get rings. It finishes one and then goes to the next. Is there a way to slice an object to have it print a full corkscrew/spiral?

If not is there another way to do this?

Re: Spiral Base

Corkscrew printing mode will not spiralize the bottom solid layers. Setting the external fill pattern to concentric will be as close as you can come to spiralized solid layers.

I've moved this thread to feature requests as it is leaning towards requesting a function that doesn't currently exist in Simplify3D.
