Number of extruders?

I'am a newbie in 3D-printing and S3D.

I try to setup a printing proces using the right extruder for the model material and the left extruder for a soluble support material.

On the Extruders page, I define the use of Right and Left extruders according to their materials.
On the Support page, I select "Left extruder" as the support extruder.

Now, when I click "Prepare to print", I get the messaage:

"The selected process is not configured for the number of extruders you have chosen to use".
Are you sure you want to continue?"

I'm not sure. As far as I know, I have only chosen two extruders: right for the model and left for the support.

What do I miss?

Best regards

Re: Number of extruders?

It is really easy to do and I have no Idea what happens with your settings.

Go to the tab FILE and save with "Save Factory as ......" the factory-file and attache it here. So everyone can import your settings (the stl / object is contained) and can see what is going wrong.

Re: Number of extruders?

Unfortunately I do not have a factory file. In the meantime, I activated "Configure assistant". After that, I cannot repeat the problem. This is strange as I used a modified process with a completely other name when I had the problem.

I will return with a factory file if/when I get the problem again.

Re: Number of extruders?

... if you have available a G-Code-file what shows the issue, you can import it as a Profil-File (FFF, not factory).

Go to FILE, Import FFF Profil, this will accept also *.gcode.
This function reads out all informations out of the header of the G-Code-file and so you can retrieve your settings. Perhaps it helps.

Re: Number of extruders?

Thank you.
But I never reached the G-code-generation, as the message popped up at "Prepare to print".
