Why am I getting Non-Manifold errors?

I get a Non-Manifold error with the Benchy file in S3D, but not when I check in Blender?

Why are you getting errors? Perhaps the model HAS errors! And Blender cannot find or is not programmed to find them!

Its a well known fact that 25% or more of the freely downloadable files have errors in them...its simply the way it is!

Windows' 3D Builder won't even load the .stl file as it has too many errors to resolve. Why not try the .3mf version.....at least 3D Builder can load it!
