Stringing occuring on hollow cylindrical prints?

I'm printing a cylindrical piece on the ender 3 with simplify 3D and getting strange stringing near the bottom of the print. The weird part is that the nozzle never crosses that part in the slicer, so it shouldnt occur. Any idea what might be causing this?

Settings are 195 C nozzle temp, 0.12 mm layer height, 20% infill, 2000 mm/min print speed, 9mm retraction distance, 0.1mm vertical retraction distance, 0.3mm coasting distance. "Avoid crossing crossing outline for travel movements" is enabled with a max allowed detour factor of 3.

Circular traces sometimes pull a string along with them as they round the curve. I see that on PETG prints and that's probably what you're seeing. Many times, stringing is due to the nozzle temperature being too high. Try lowering it to 190C and see if the printing improves.

Another possibility is insufficient retraction. That can be either too little retraction or retraction being too slow.

This may just simply be printing at too fast a speed. And if its on the first layer, it may be the printing is a little too high for the printed filament to adhere properly.
