Connected to machine!

Though Simplify says the printer is connected, the jog controls are not functional and the printer doesn't return temperature data. No other functions are responsive either. Where do I go from here to troubleshoot? Any thoughts on this are greatly appreciated.

I tested this with versions 3.1.1 and 4.1.1 of Simplify3D. My printer is a Taz 5 with version 1.1.9.28 of Marlin. The printer is communicates properly with the Lulzbot edition of Cura.

Re: Connected machine, no response

The odd characters in the Communication Log indicate a mismatch in the Baud Rate settings. I believe Lulzbot changed this with their most recent Firmware update. Please switch to 250000 from 115200. Please let me know if this does not fix the issue.

Re: Connected machine, no response

I have run into the same problem, and yes the fix is changing the Baud rate to 250000. Just like the other user, I had just updated the firmware.
