Flashforge Adventurer 3 x3g not found

Hi guys, so my Adventurer 3 won't show any x3g files so I made sure the file name was short, no spaces or any fancy characters but no luck there. I'm assuming that my printer will only read gx files. Could this be the case and if so, is there a way to get simplify to export gx files. I really don't want to go back to Flashprint. Additional info: Im exporting my files on a USB because the printer has no SD card slot and I don't have a USB cable. Printer is up to date
