Force clockwise-only?

Is there some way to force the toolpath to always move the same direction after indexing layers?

I'm trying to print a model in vase mode, with a shell that has holes punched through the walls. The holes force an expected mode change from continuous to layer-by-layer, but that also triggers a direction change in the toolpath. Reversing directions exposes the non-idealities of my printer by inducing a shift in X-Y enough to be visible on smooth walls.

Would also be happy to see such a possibility for outer perimeters generally.
If the direction changes at certain heights, the outer perimeter moves a bit due to XY backlash.
And having a setting to force the outer perimeter direction would solve this.
