Re: using on two machies

Wait for the official reply but from what I seen so far, when you go to your "Account" you can see devices where app is "activated", when you uninstall you can "remove activation" by uninstalling but you can also manually de-activate a device on the account page. They allow up to 2 devices to be "activated" on single license (no clue if they can run app in the same time, have not tried). So you should be able to have it both on your desktop and laptop.
gcodestat integrates with Simplify3D and allow you to
Calculate print time accurately (acceleration, max speed, junction deviation all taken into consideration)
Embed M117 codes into G-Code
Upload your G-Code directly to Octoprint
open source and unlicence

Re: using on two machies

From FAQs page:
How many computers can I install the software on? What if I have multiple computers?

Installation: The software can be installed on up to 2 computers that you personally own and use.
Usage: You can use the software on 1 computer at a time.
For example, if you had a laptop and a desktop, you could install the software in both locations, but you should only use the software in 1 location at a time.
Please note: Simplify3D licenses are sold as individual user licenses. A single user license should never be shared by multiple individuals.
