I was wondering if there is an ability to lower the build platform between rapid tool movements during a build.
On a Stratasys Dimension printer for example, the build platform will go lower by one or 2 mm after one nozzle has finished or perhaps before a rapid movement is done, reducing the chance for ooze to smear and reducing the chance that the other nozzle will crash into the part being printed. It will then raise to the previous height after the movement is done and continue printing.
Has anyone done this with a script or fancy setup of processes?
Is this feature already supported and maybe I missed it?
Would be handy as I'm sure all people with 2 extruders have probably dealt with nozzles crashing into the work. It's especially bad when a rapid movement is made. It can knock the work off of the table especially on small parts.
Thanks
