External Perimeter Start/Stop Point Seam Issue

I know this is a pretty common issue but I don't use a Bowden style machine that much so looking for some advice.
I think the issue in the picture is mainly the start point. I have been adjusting settings a little but have not made any real headway.
The machine is a Fusion3 F410.

Re: External Perimeter Start/Stop Point Seam Issue

For a direct filament drive (i.e. non-Bowden), I never run retraction much over 1 mm. I'd make a test model (a cylinder works well), and play with that for a start. You may also need to add a tiny amount of extra restart distance (I typically use -0.1 mm) to get it really smooth. It will never be perfect, but I suspect you can do much better.
