Two printers

Is there a way to run two printers on separate prints using two USB connections?

I'm using SD cards now, but I had SD Card Errors twice this week and used the USB to keep things running.

Then it occurred to me, as a backup, I wondered if I could run both printers from one computer.

To do this, you really just need to open two separate windows of the software, and they don't interfere with one-another. I've done this a few times and it works really well.

KBW, I'm not quite sure what you mean. I can only have one window open. If I create a new factory, it asks me if I want to save changes to the old one. Unlike Photoshop, for instance, where it does give me a second window.

Maybe I'm approaching it wrong.

Try double-clicking on the s3d icon to open another window (Windows) to control another printer.

I'm a Mac user.

Doesn't work for me.

BUT...

I have both versions (previous and newest) on my machine, and they both seem to be running fine.

I will try to print them at a later time (it's getting late).

I never had any problem with either, so it could work!

I'm a Mac user as well, I usually keep the previous version installed so that I can run multiple instances and connect to multiple printers. Works for me

Usually for a mac you need to duplicate the app. Rename it slightly and then run the original & the copy. I don't know if S3D will run as it has DRM.
