I have had that problem before, the printer stopping on curves every so often. I would suggest downloading Repetier-Host and connecting your printer via USB cable. There should be a slot on the right-hand side of the printer for that cable. If it's not on the side, it might be placed in the back. Connect that to your computer and run Repetier-Host. There should be an option in the top left corner of Repetier-Host that says "Connect". Click on that and the printer should restart. Go to "Config" and in the drop-down menu, click on "Firmware EEPROM Configuration". This should pop up a separate screen that changes acceleration settings, end stop settings, and jerk settings. Find the x-axis jerk setting and set it to 10 mm/s or 15mm/s. This should decrease the size of the blobs. If you set this too high, hard corners and infill will jerk the print head quite a bit and put stress on the belts. This will also create lots of ringing.
