License limit reached on each start on Linux

Good afternoon

Each time I start Simplify3D 4.1.2 on Debian Buster I get notified that I have reached the maximum number of licenses....and in the account page I have to deactivate it....until I restart Simplify3D again...

And every time I see my machine listed as "Linux"...

On macOS 10.13.6 I never had this issue...

thanks in advance

I am having this same issue as well. Was there any progress on this error? TOTAL Linux newbie here, so it could very well be something I'm doing wrong.

Looks like this thing with linux is rather "common" maybe a proper FAQ about handling this issue on Linux could benefit more ppl having Linux issues
gcodestat integrates with Simplify3D and allow you to
Calculate print time accurately (acceleration, max speed, junction deviation all taken into consideration)
Embed M117 codes into G-Code
Upload your G-Code directly to Octoprint
open source and unlicence
