support missing some area

hi!

support missing in some area of the object.
using version 2.1.1, tried using 2.1.2 same problem.
fix by reduce angle ng support.

sample number 2. gear.
need to manully add support for parts with no support.

The support structures are too large to envelope the entire bottom of the object. Try lowering the resolution of the support pillars to 1 in the support generation window and regenerating supports.

Alternatively, you can scale your model up, say by 5 times, generate supports, then scale it back down

Re: support missing some area

To add to what tenk said. The missing areas arent large enough to activate the next support pillar on the grid. Lowering resolution of the grid will make a difference but there is also a setting called inflation distance. This will grow the suppot outward. Set that to about 1mm and it should work out for you
