Settings for Sharp Edges

From time to time I have to print parts with sharp edges. When I do I have S3D will show a dark blue edge and those parts will not be formed well when it prints. What is perplexing me is that I will slice the same part on a same brand printer and it will not show the dark blue edge and will print well. In other words a similar printer can manage it. Is there any settings that help with sharp edges? :)

Blue lines? I think you need to find out what blue lines mean!

The phrase ...or two phrases....you're looking for are "Thin Wall Behaviour" and "Single Extrusions".

Re: Settings for Sharp Edges

The software has the same thin wall settings for almost every profile I've ever seen. I take that to mean those were some agreed upon good starting points but definitely not dialed in specifically for each model of printer. Calibrating them for your printer and brand of filament is something I've always needed to do over time.

There are some really popular testing models that include thin wall sections which I found really helpful when calibrating these options. I'll link one below.
