Bug: Vase mode staying active after unchecking box

Simplify3D 4.1.2 on Mac Mojave

I have a model with various settings that are working fine. I'm working with the first Process that I will use for the lowest layers.
I check the Layer > Vase Mode box just to see how it will work out. I check OK to save the Process.
I use Prepare to Print and, choose that one Process. In the Print Preview I observe expected vase mode output: single walls etc. But I don't actually print it.
I return to settings and uncheck the Vase Mode box.
I use Prepare to Print and in the Print Preview I vase mode output is still occurring.
Checking and unchecking the box does not seem to stop Vase Mode output.

I use Add to create a duplicate of the Process, and the Vase Mode box is initially not checked.
I save that Process, use Prepare to Print and in the Print Preview I vase mode output is NOT occurring with this new process.

Re: Bug: Vase mode staying active after unchecking box

Is it possible that when you use Vase Mode the first time you get the warning from Simplify3D that says "Using spiral vase mode will override several layer, infill, support, and retraction settings. Are you sure you want to continue?"?

This makes your Infill Percentage 0% and changes your perimeters to 1 so even if you go back and uncheck the box there will still be no infill and only one perimeter.

Yes, it changes those values as you described. Setting them back restores the desired print behavior.

So not a bug, but a not-very-obvious behavior. The warning message comes only when clicking Prepare to Print, and said "override", so that led me to think it would be a temporary override, not a change to the values stored in each of my Processes. A clearer flow might be to have the warning and the values change at the time of checking the vase mode box.

Thanks for explaining.
