Horizontal Surfaces Missing

I have an issue where horizontal surfaces are not solid.

Note that this is not an issue with the top layers, but with any solid horizontal layers not printing on top of the infill.

This has also occurred with the underside of a model.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: Horizontal Surfaces Missing

Could you provide some images or a Factory File to help show what you are referring to here?

Re: Horizontal Surfaces Missing

I tried to attach image files to my original post.

Let me try this again.

Re: Horizontal Surfaces Missing

Missing again, although they appeared in the attachments tab.

Obviously operator error since I've seen others do this. :D

Re: Horizontal Surfaces Missing

Any hints on adding images as attachments?

Mine do not seem to appear when I post.

Trying to attach images again.

And again not attached...

Thanks.

Re: Horizontal Surfaces Missing

That is precisely the process I was using with Firefox.

Trying Chrome now.

And no images. Apparently it does not work every time...

Re: Horizontal Surfaces Missing

1) Click on the button marked "Attachments"

2) Click on the button that then appears marked "Add Files!

3) In the File Select window that opens, browse and select the file on your computer and click "Open"

That's it! Type the rest of your post. Simples!

PHPbb ( or should I say phpBB ), which is the forum software used here, is compatible with all well known browsers...and always has been!

Re: Horizontal Surfaces Missing

Those are the steps I've followed, as well as dragging the image to the message box.

And if either of these worked there would be two pictures attached to this post.

Thanks for trying.

Repeating from above:
