[ADDED] Start Printing At Height should move Z axis FIRST!

If my print stops halfway, it should be great to use the 'start printing at Z Height' to essentially 'continue' the print. The problem is, when restarting, the printer will move to home, then the X/Y start location, and THEN the Z axis - essentially smashing through the print that's already halfway done on the bed.

It should home, move Z axis up to start height, and THEN move into X/Y position. Would save a lot of headaches and destroyed prints!

Re: Start Printing At Height should move Z axis FIRST!

if i have a long print that somehow has a problem mid print i will stop the print, remove it then start the print from whatever layer or height i stopped at. when done i just solvent bond the 2 halves together. much better than wasting alot of time and material. i have never had luck resuming a print from where i left off and have the extruder go back to the model to continue. i have seen some people do it with some practice but im not one of them. gluing is much more fool proof.

Just put G1 Z[big number here] F3000 at the end of your starting gcode script and you should be fine. Done this plenty of times
