Short retractions while working infill
I'm getting short retractions the entire time it's printing my infill. Maybe 2 to three short pops per infill line. Any idea why this might be happening?

If it's only on the infill (usually the highest print speed) there might be other things causing your extruder to "skip", leaving small holes/gaps in the line of infill. But depending on infill and other settings there might be quite some retractions going on. Hard to tell without any info... ^^
Oh, depending on humidity some materials might cause "pops" while printing. But that's usually not limited to certain features of the print.
would you mind adding a factory file? Are the retractions really there (GCode preview)?
