Printed this lithophane twice, but problem still persists.
I have been working with my Ultimaker S5 to get the perfect settings. I decided to print a globe lithophone, which printed perfectly until about 60% through the print. The first try (on the left) has extensive layer-stuttering. For the second, I decided to lower the layer height (0.45 --> 0.3), raise the print temp (205 --> 215) and increase the retraction distance (6.5mm --> 8.5mm). It did help drastically, but the layer stuttering is still present and in the exact same spot. I am using a 0.4 nozzle and printing with freshly bought PLA. Any suggestions on how to tweak this? Do other prints (non-globe lithophane) also show this issue when they get to that height in your build area?
