How do i speed up the blue areas - see pic :-)

Okay you can see that most of this model is printed at a really painfully low speed. That i had no part in deciding.

The first part printed at the designated speed. Then for the easy vertical part it slowed right down.

This is simple rectangle with a channel. It doesn't need to print slowly. The trigger extension I can sort of understand.

But I'm noticing this extreme slow down quite a lot in models that build up rather than along.

So is there any way to speed this up ?
I can't find any settings that would account for this slowdown. I presume it's some automatic setting in the slicer engine.

For the most part the models that are getting this treatment could easily print much faster. That is what i want :-)
Any idea how I change these settings ?

hi caa, its in the cooling section. speed overrides. adjust printing speed for layers under "x" seconds. this slows down small layers to allow cooling time.

This part is designed to be laid down, so that the top of the cross box goes against the table. Then you'll find it prints alot faster. So the pitol grip part will stick up in the air.

In what way is that answering my question ?
The cross bow needs support if you lay it down flat. If you stand it on end - it doesn't and prints damn near as well.

Okay tried that and it works perfectly. I have active cooling so slowing down a lot on small layers just isn't necessary.
Crossbow prints great. A little squiggly bit where the hand hold bends. But pretty minor, and no supports needed.
