just out of curiosity, has anyone else noticed a massive time difference in expected build times between S3D and others like cura or prusa. all settings are set the same as far as I can tell. but the other slicers were telling me that the print will take 3+ days and S3D tells me 14.5 hrs, filament use is almost identical. I'm baffled as to where the differences are.
Every slicer I have used is massively incorrect for times. You need to account for the acceleration parameters to get a better quality estimate. There was a couple of G-Code parsers that worked pretty well online. But Sadly seem to be defunct. I have been tempted to write my own over the years. Maybe I'll kick the tires on that project again. It's definitely something the slicers SHOULD have as a feature.
Hi.
I see time differences between S3D and Flashprint 5 about 2 minutes.
Flashprint 5 is more accurate because print is takes time that Flashprint is shows.
S3D is shows every time less time.
