Unfortunately, he does not comment on anything. As if he didn't even see those comments about version 5. He only answers insignificant things.

Chris

Chris come on
its now time to address the questions that you customers have. If you don't have a viable upgrade yet it is not failure to admit that you need more time. Just explain and keep us informed. No one is going to jump down your throat because your programming efforts are not going as planned. Just keep the information flowing. There are tons of customers that will be willing to give you some input. Use this resource as it is available to you. We all want to see you succeed.

Re: Paid upgrade For 2020 upcoming Version 5.0

I am transitioning to SLA anyway now. S3D is good software and have been using it for many years. I have put up with only being allowed to install on two computers but it has been an issue for me.
I have put up with it because they give me updates. Once version 4 has hit maturity and no longer supported they should remove the seat restriction. It will only be a matter of time before modifications are made, and there will be no need to allow it internet access.
Shame - but they killed the requirement !

edit: the free software that comes with many SLA printers is very very good.

Today I received an email from simplify3d, although it talks about the pandemic, it certainly says something about version 5. but come on, everything stopped

S3d team, when do you have version 5 planned?

Unbelievable how this company operates. They obviously lost all their developers. I don't know how they're still selling copies.
