I’m having the same issues, the printer is found IP192.168.0.149 Port 80, test OK but as soon as you hit connect in machine control it returns a “read error connected to IP192.168.0.148 already “
QIDI I-Mate-S, it does connect with Qidis’ software on the same IP ….149
Are you by chance running the Qidi Print software on the same computer? Seems like the machine is complaining that another application is already connected.

I am getting the issue above in the picture.
And no, the QIDI software is not installed.

I only connected the Qidi software afterwards to test the network IP connection which worked, I'll uninstall Qidi and try again.
In SD5 in Option "Network" shouldn't we be able to see the printer?
When I set up one QIDI printer I enable the WIFI on the printer.
I did the search for printers using S3D. It found the printer with the correct IP.
I did the com test and it passed.
When I try to send a file to print I get errors similar to the control panel picture above.
When I did this using a LAN cable I was able to get it to work ok.
