Re: 3D Mouse Support

You shouldn't have to do anything special to enable it. Just install the 3Dconnexion drivers, plug in the mouse, then start S3D and the mouse should be automatically detected. If that doesn't work, try rebooting your computer first.

Re: 3D Mouse Support

Sorry, do not works in this way :(
Space mouse driver was installed before Simplify3D installation and works/worked with Fusion 360 application.
After installing Simplify3D I did reboot and 3D mouse doesnt works with Simplify3D :(
I also tried to add Simplify3D to the 3Dconnextion but nothing helps :(

Here MacOS 13.1and Space mouse Wireless, 3DxWare 10 version 10.7.4

Best Wishes.

Re: 3D Mouse Support

We have heard some reports of issues with the 3Dconnexion drivers on newer MacOS versions. It's possible that may be related. It would help to know if S3D users on MacOS 10.x are having issues with the 3D mouse as well, or if it's just happening on MacOS 11-13.

Re: 3D Mouse Support

Hi,

My SpaceMouse Enterprise does not work either. Firmware 4.41

MacOS Ventura 13.1 - M1
Spacemouse driver 10.7.0, it works with F360, PrusaSlicer, Blender. (I can't get 10.7.4 to work with FreeCAD so therefor I use this older driver)

Re: 3D Mouse Support

It does work on the latest update...
I got it to work on my MacBookPro M1Max

You need to go to control panel, open the 3DConnextion panel, and choose add application from the pulldown menu
Select Simplify3D from the application folder

then it will work.

Re: 3D Mouse Support

Yes, I believe this was addressed in one of our earlier 5.0.x released (see the release notes here: https://www.simplify3d.com/products/sim ... ase-notes/)
