Re: WIF Connection To QIDI Doesn't Work

Getting same thing on 3 Different QIDI's. X-Smart, X-Maker & X-PRO. Confirm I do not have QIDI print installed/running, The IP address it says is already connected is the PC I am running V5 on. Apparently this is merely a bug.

Exactly what I get. It gives the IP of the PC that is running S3D.

Re: WIF Connection To QIDI Doesn't Work

We have quite a few different Qidi machines in our office which are all still connecting fine with V5. Would you mind posting your firmware version? Are you already using the latest firmware? Not sure why our machines would connect find, but some others are giving an error saying a device is already connected...

Just bought V5 2 days ago, but if there’s a newer updated V5 let us know.

Is it possible for a download link to the firmware
that’s working on your office machines?

The version of Firmware does not matter; ALL my 3 WIFI QIDI machines (X-Smart,X-Pro,X-Maker) communicate perfectly with QIDIPrint (Cura) WIFI. I have not updated the firmware in any of my machines. The Actual communication protocol has NOT changed based on firmware version, or else it would cause the qidiprint software to stop working. This error seems to be YOUR V5 S3D simply not understanding what it is receiving from the printers, it plainly says what it is READING back and does not know what to do with it.

It is obvious that your company did not employ the use of Beta-Testers before releasing the software....Not surprising at all as it took you over 5 years just to get this V5 out....

Re: WIF Connection To QIDI Doesn't Work

I’m more than ready to uninstall mine and upload yours that works on your office Qidi printers, I think that’s the easiest thing to do for the QiDi family right now…

What do you think?

Not yet. Its only been 48 hours since they released this Beta Version of 5.0 and called it a full release. Give them time to fix the issues. The last update of 4.00 it took 3 days for them to release V4.01 that fixed some of the bugs....

So they got 24 hours left to produce....

Following, I've had the same problem and every suggestion so far has not worked for me either. I hope someone can provide a solution or a fix soon, because I'm stumped at this point :?

Re: WIF Connection To QIDI Doesn't Work

Any new info on the issue of sending a print to a QIDI via WIFI?

I have tried on an X-Plus and 2 Max's and get the same exact error from all three.
