Have you tried to slice and print using a previous model that you had complicated - &+ angles? Is the infill angle still consistently orientated with X and Y axis regardless of bed placement? Any rotation of the model would change everything as far as infill start and stop positions and print head path.
We make a product
www.pitchouts.com that is super complex and depends on special angle infills. Almost 2 years of development to get our product to print correctly. Only S3D can print our product, and we have held off developing our newer model until V5. I am reading all of these comments so that we can concentrate on the model and avoid the pitfalls. I would love to hear any experiences with complex models using the new angle infills. They are tricky but allow unimaginable support structures that no other slicer can do. We are starting on our new design on 3 January, and will be using V5. So far, we are almost at square one due to lack of knowledge of these changes, without doing hours of testing. We have to achieve the exact same outcome of our current model using V4. Any insight is welcome, and I will post any developments between V 4&5 using infill angles.
